There's no place like home for the holidays...

OK, actually we are going to Dublin for Christmas so it is only halfway home, but since my mother and sister are meeting us there, it will feel like home.

In the end, I did put up a few decorations but no tree. I've been playing Christmas music and drinking warm Christmas beverages and so I feel a little more in the spirit. Still, it is 77 degrees and sunny here today which makes for strangeness with wintery music; Dublin however should be much colder and wetter so that will be more in season.

Basically I'm feeling burned out at work and am ready for a vacation even through I haven't packed and we leave tonight and I'm having a minor freakout...

You'll be fine, Colleen. The cold bracing air of Dublin will do you good. Have a wonderful holiday!

Breathe. Have a wonderful time. Give Dublin my love. (Not that I've been there, but I love it, anyway.)
